Ardmore House B&B

———

SPRING 2021

We are delighted to announce that we are now open to visitors again.

We are thrilled that we can once more welcome guests to stay, and we are now busy filling the cupboards with home-made treats and tending the home-grown produce in our gardens.

———

Ardmore House is located in the North West of Scotland, on the North Coast 500 route.

We are in a beautiful setting, tucked away up a private drive, overlooking a tranquil glen. We are just 1.5 miles from the fishing village of Lochinver, and 1.5 miles from Achmelvich beach.

OUR GUEST ROOMS

Ardmore House has just two guest bedrooms, both with private facilities, and come supplied with Faith In Nature toiletries.

Our double room, which has views overlooking the beautiful glen, has a luxury super-king sized bed, a comfy seating area, and tea & coffee making facilities. It has its own private bathroom adjacent to the room, with a bath, shower over the  bath, basin and WC.

Our twin room, which also enjoys views of the glen, contains a double bed plus a single bed, and so can be made up as a double or a twin. The room also has two comfortable chairs and tea & coffee making facilities. The twin room has an en-suite with large rainfall shower, basin and WC.

OUR FOOD

For breakfast, start with our home-made granola, seasonal fresh fruits, home-made compote, organic yoghurt, and changing seasonal treats.

Follow this with a cooked breakfast of local bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, and fresh home-laid organic eggs from our small flock (flocklet!) of free-range hens. Our breakfast comes with our own home-made organic bread, toasted and served with preserves and honey.

Evening meals are sometimes available by arrangement: a simple home-cooked two-course supper (main course and pudding with tea/coffee), with an ever-changing menu, from venison to vegan, for £25.00 per person - please enquire directly with us.

For all our meals, we use only top quality ingredients, organic and locally sourced wherever possible, and we make as much as we can from scratch. We aim to use seasonal ingredients from local crofts and markets, and are currently developing our own fruit, vegetable and herb gardens.

We are also very happy to cater for vegetarian/vegan diets, or for other special dietary requirements -  do please get in touch with us directly, at least a few days before your arrival, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your requests.

As we don’t have a license to sell alcohol, do feel free to bring your own bottle, we can supply the glasses!

Our meals are served in the guest dining room, which is a cosy room with a wood burning stove and a comfy sofa.
